About Reid & Sons Directional Drilling

Reid & Sons Directional Drilling Ltd. is a family owned and operated horizontal directional drilling company located in Saskatchewan. We have been in business since 2000. We work as a sub-contractor for various construction companies, utility companies, and pipelines. We install conduit, water and sewer lines, and cable.

Our equipment includes 4 directional drills:

• 2013 Universal 22×22- 22,000 lb rig
• 2015 Universal 36×50- 36,000 lb rig
• 2018 Universal 70×90- 70,000 lb rig
• 2010 Universal 100×120- 100,000 lb rig

The drills are supported by mud systems, backhoe, skid steer, water and gravel trucks, as well as a hydrovac truck. We can pull pipe up to 36” diameter.

We’ve recently expanded into the pipe-bursting area, purchasing the equipment and completing a sewer replacement in North Battleford. Our equipment also includes a chain trencher, and all smaller tools and equipment needed to complete our jobs.

We take pride in our work and strive for complete customer satisfaction. Our customers praise our superior workmanship and commitment to safety. Our employees are trained in all work procedures and have taken the appropriate safety courses such as H2S Alive, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance, First Aid, Crane Safety, and WHMIS.
